ABOUT THE PIE SISTERS

The Pielaet sisters have over 35 years of combined experience
in photography, graphic design, and publishing.

Dina Pielaet is currently the creative director of 451 Media, a full service advertising agency co-owned with her partner, Amy Jones (www.451media.com). She is also the co-publisher, lead photographer and creative director of VC Life & Style magazine (www.vclifeandstyle.com). Dina has created her own digital painting process applied to her own photography and her work has been published and shown in galleries throughout California. She has been producing Archival giclees for herself and other photographers and fine artists, using archival iprinters and archival
papers and canvases for years.

Tara Pielaet is currently the owner of Lake Tahoe Media, a multimedia marketing group in the Sierra Nevadas (www.laketahoemedia.org), specializing in online marketing services. Tara has won several awards for photo journalism and graphic design. (California Press Association, Nevada Press Association and CNPA) Her creative passion and love for photography combined has allowed her to bring her best from the mountains to the sea.

ARCHIVAL PRINTS & CANVASES

We own our archival printers, scanners, super mac stations and pc stations...all geared to deliver the highest quality image reproduction. We print our own art – up to 42" wide. We make our own frames, stretch our own canvases. Everything is archival quality to last over 130 years!. All work is available in any size, on any material (within reason). Any image we shoot, or any image you bring to us, can be turned into a painting (NO...we do NOT use plug-in filters...we do it by HAND).

SCANS & CAMERA
We offer flatbed scanning services for originals up to 11 X 17 and film drum scans up to 3 X 4.5. Large sized originals in need of medium and large format camera work available upon request:

HAND MADE BOOKS & FINE ART

We can create your permanent keepsake as a hardcover, perfect bound book, traditional or non-traditional photo album, and ALL CANVAS photo album, a hand-made book, with specialty binding, appleques, recycled textured paper...you name it. Samples and quotes on request.
